The Capricorn School of Dancing will be showcasing a spectacular Christmas production of The Nutcracker. This classical ballet favourite has all the wondrous elements: a Christmas tree glittering with ornaments and a surprise magician with presents. As you enter the dream of a young girl, be enchanted by a world of dance featuring mice, toys and the delectable land of sweets that create magic for every imagination. The Nutcracker has long been one of the most delightful ways to discover the enchantment of ballet and makes for a sparkling festive treat for the whole family.
There will also be a showcase of the school's award-winning performance group items including specially choreographed segments from Frozen, Peter Pan, The Sound of Music and Cats. From the poise and grace of beautiful ballet training to the exciting and energetic world of jazz, tap and musical theatre this show will be a delight to an audience of all ages.
