The Pilbeam Theatre is set to ignite with a burst of dance energy as CSOD Dance Collective 2023 takes to the stage on Saturday 2 December at 2pm. Witness the talented students of the Capricorn School of Dancing as they present a spectacular array of dance performances, showcasing the skills of dancers ranging from 3 to 18 years of age. This spectacular event will encompass a diverse range of dance styles, from the elegance of classical ballet, contemporary, and lyrical dance to the electrifying worlds of jazz, tap, hip-hop, and musical theatre.
The concert will open with an upbeat and empowering Shania Twain song medley, setting an unforgettable afternoon of music and celebration. CSOD’s young ballerinas will transform into enchanting mermaids as they gracefully dance to the captivating soundtrack from The Little Mermaid. The talented vocalists from CSOD will shine in the spotlight as they bring to life the vibrant characters from Seussical and Matilda in showstopping Musical Theatre numbers. The concert will culminate in a grand finale featuring a dazzling performance choreographed by the incredibly talented Chiara Wink!
